  1. Once one of the best now disgraceful!!
My other half ordered a £40 pink bouquet to be delivered to me as a surprise. When they arrived I thought they looked nice with great colours and arranged and presented very nicely but definitely not worth £40 as there wasn’t alot of content compared with other £40 bouquets i’ve recieved. After 2 days most of the roses had died and the greenery wilted, the only things looking alive were the 2 gerberas, 1 piece of eucalyptus and small lillies which hadn’t yet opened. My mum who used to be a florist couldnt believe they were £40! and suggested I take them back as they were disgraceful and any florist would replace them immediately as their reputations are very important and this florist used to be one of the best. So I took them back and spoke to the most arrogant man i’ve ever met who obviously needs to take a course in customer service! I explained that I wasn’t happy with the flowers and he reacted by accusing me of taking some of the flowers out but then going on to say that’s what you get for £40, he then wouldn’t believe that all the flowers has been cut and put in water and said that not all the flowers had been treated the same but I definitely didn’t leave half the bouquet uncut and out of water and look after the other half that’s ridiculous! he threw half the boquet away as they were obviously dead and asked what I expected him to do! obviously I asked for them to be replaced as they has been paid for! so eventually the arrogant man reluctantly replaced the dead flowers with clashing colours of red and cream, however he didn’t replace the roses! Although i did end up with a mediocre bouquet consisting of a mixture of flowers and colours it wasn’t quite the pink vibrant bouquet that was ordered! I will definitely not be returning to this florist which has obviously gone from being top to rock bottom!

  2. A care card is included with all flowers to ensure vase life. These flowers were left with a neighbour and therefore remained out of water for perhaps longer than was good for them. There are attitudes to which we can respond and the initial attitude was one of hostility and accusation which was unfounded as the majority of flowers being returned were not dead. The customer was given more flowers far in excess of any value that had died. The flower value included a delivery charge which the recipient was obviously unaware of.

  3. We are a large company based in Ringwood, World of Flowers to meet our corporate order over Christmas of over 35 bouquets throughout the south of England. David, the Manager handled the request personally and the flowers that were delivered were beautiful and of an extremely high quality. I would highly recommend this florist if you expect a high level of professionalism service and need someone to rely on to get it right. Thank you very much to David and his team.

  4. I would just like to point out that Karen and Keith Hefford sold “Hefford’s Florist to Mr David Kingman in February 2006 and
have had no involvement in the business since then.

  5. Heffords florist was sold in february 1986 to Mr D Kingman, who traded as Hefford’s World of Flowers until March 2008.
Due to a guarantee agreement with the Landlord Keith and Karen Hefford have been forced to re-open the Shop.
We are now trading as Hefford’s Flowers.
I, therefore, would like all derogatory remarks removed from this website with immediate effect
    Thank you

  6. I dealt with Hefford’s before they sold the shop to Mr Kingman - they were always wonderful flowers and good value. I went once to the shop and wouldn’t have gone back - he showed no interest in my purchase and the flowers wern’t the best. I was delighted when the Heffords came back and have been in to purchase more flowers with which I was delighted.
